Jenna is a physiotherapist who strongly values meeting you where you are. She recognizes that factors like stress, sleep, life transitions, and the demands of everyday life can all influence how your body responds to treatment. By combining her extensive training in physiotherapy with her background in psychology and behaviour change, Jenna creates treatment plans that are not just evidence-based and effective, but also easy for you to implement given the unique demands of your life. Her goal is to help you build the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to maintain and continue your progress beyond the clinic.
Jenna’s person-centred approach, coupled with her experience working with diverse population, allows her to adapt her care to a wide range of individuals, from elite athletes striving for peak performance to those focused on maintaining independence, mobility, and quality of life as they age.
Jenna graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree after obtaining her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology (BKin) from the University of the Fraser Valley. Jenna also obtained additional training and certification in Soft Tissue Release Techniques, and she is a member of the Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) program–a group of health care practitioners collaborating to provide breast cancer supportive care.
Beyond Jenna’s hands-on treatment techniques, one of her greatest strengths is her passion for education. She takes care to translate complex clinical concepts into clear, digestible explanations so you can truly understand what’s happening in your body. This shared understanding allows you to engage more fully in treatment and feel confident in your recovery.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Jenna cycling around Vancouver, running in Pacific Spirit Park, playing beach volleyball or tennis at Spanish Banks, and hiking the North Shore Mountains.
